Your Data, Your Control
Bulltrapp is a read-only portfolio tracker. We help you see your holdings — we never touch, trade, or move your funds. Here's exactly what we do with your data.
What We Collect
To provide portfolio tracking, we collect:
- •Your email address (for login and essential notifications)
- •Exchange API keys (read-only permissions, encrypted at rest)
- •Public wallet addresses you connect (never private keys or seed phrases)
- •Your app preferences and alert configurations
- •Basic usage data to improve the app (pages visited, features used)
How We Use It
Your data is used strictly for portfolio tracking:
- •Fetching your exchange balances and wallet holdings
- •Calculating portfolio value with current market prices
- •Sending price alerts when your targets are hit
- •Displaying your P&L, allocation, and performance metrics
- •Improving the app based on anonymous usage patterns
Where We Store It
Your data is stored securely using industry best practices:
- •Firebase (Google Cloud) for user data and preferences
- •API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage
- •Encryption keys are stored in Google Secret Manager
- •We never store API secrets in plaintext — not even temporarily
Third Parties
We use a few trusted services:
- •Firebase — authentication and data storage
- •Price APIs (CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap) — fetching market prices (no personal data shared)
- •Sentry — error tracking to fix bugs (minimal data, no financial info)
- •privacy.thirdParties.items.analytics
What We Don't Do
Let's be crystal clear:
- ✓We never trade, transfer, or move your funds — our API keys are read-only
- ✓We never sell your data to anyone — period
- ✓We never ask for seed phrases or private keys
- ✓We don't show ads or share data with advertisers
- ✓We never store your API keys unencrypted
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- •Access — see all data we have about you (export from Settings)
- •Delete — remove your account and all associated data
- •Export — download your transaction history and portfolio snapshots
- •Correction — update any incorrect information in your profile

Cookies
We use minimal cookies for:
- •Authentication — keeping you logged in
- •Preferences — remembering your language and theme
- •Anonymous analytics — understanding how people use the app
